Barn on 86th Street

-->
This classic Hoosier barn is along my drive to work.  I've been driving past it for a couple years thinking that it begs to be painted.  I tracked down the new owner of the property and received permission to set up on his land and paint it.  The neighbors and visitors that stopped by to chat with me said that they hope the new owner will not tear it down, since he is building a new house and barn on the lot.  Mr. Isley has reassured me that their goal is to restore it.  I'm glad, but I'm also glad I painted it before he did.
